My practice includes all areas of intellectual property counseling (with focus on due diligence,development and implementation of IP strategies, patent prosecution, licensing agreements, opinion work, and infringement analysis) for a variety of clients including academic institutions, multinational corporations, mid-size companies, and start-ups. In assisting my clients with establishing their IP rights, I draw on personal experience of a scientist, an engineer, and an entrepreneur who was exposed to the full cycle of product development – from the initial scientific concept to marketing of the successful product. Fifteen years of industrial and academic experience in optical sciences and technologies. CTO or Director of R&D of private-capital held startups, one of which delivered products to market and was acquired.
