Tom's Summary

Tom brings decades of experience leading teams providing critical communications technology for public safety. He joins RapidSOS as VP of Public Safety Operations to help execute the company's vision of providing life-saving data to 9-1-1 and first responders. He is focused on building relationships with a portfolio of vendor partners who deliver information from the NG911 Clearinghouse through their Call Handling, Computer Aided Dispatch, Mapping and other workflow solutions. In addition, this includes customer support operations and customer success management efforts, ensuring that public safety users are fully trained on the use of services and making the most of them as part of their operations. Tom previously served as the Vice President of Smart Public Safety Solutions at Motorola Solutions, where he was responsible for delivering software-based solutions to the worldwide Public Safety Market. These products included incident management, records and data management, community engagement, and public safety intelligence solutions. Prior to Motorola, Tom served as the President and CEO of Twisted Pair Solutions, providing critical communications technology to a variety of industries including first responder and federal government agencies. Before Twisted Pair, Tom held leadership positions in a variety of startup and large technology providers. He has experience leading acquisitions, integrating organizations, and growing companies. Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
