As Chief Operating Officer at The Weifield Group, Tim Markham oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, including sales, pre-construction, construction operations, and support services at Weifield. Reporting to the CEO, Tim is responsible for the P&L, executes Weifield’s business plans, empowers leaders across the company, ensures processes and procedures are efficient, measures and reports on operational performance, and ensures our employees and customers are engaged and satisfied. Tim joined Weifield in April 2019. Prior to Weifield, Tim spent 9 years as Vice President of Corporate Services for IHS Markit, a public company headquartered in London, U.K., with more than $4 billion in annual revenues, 15,000 employees in 160 offices located in 34 countries. Tim had global responsibility for real estate and facilities, procurement, health & safety, corporate travel and risk management. He was also heavily involved in M&A due diligence and integration, participating in more than 50 acquisitions and 1 merger with Markit. Prior to IHS Markit, Tim was Vice President of Corporate Services at Janus Capital Group (now Janus Henderson), overseeing similar functions, as well as involvement in M&A integration, overseeing the construction of Janus’ global HQ building in Cherry Creek and evaluating and implementing new processes and systems across the organization. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in business from Colorado State University, a M.B.A from the University of Colorado and holds professional certifications in Corporate Real Estate (MCR – CoreNet Global) and Purchasing (C.P.M. – Institute of Supply Management). Tim is a past board member and committee chair of the Colorado Chapter of CoreNet Global. He also previously served as a board member for the Colorado Chapter of Healthy Lifestars, a non-profit organization focused on fighting childhood obesity.
