Tim Laney is Chairman, President and CEO of National Bank Holdings Corporation (NYSE: NBHC). Its subsidiary, NBH Bank, is a growing community bank franchise, founded in 2009 and built from several formational acquisitions. Its family of brands includes Bank Midwest, Community Banks of Colorado and Hillcrest Bank and serves small businesses, consumers and mid-to-large size commercial and specialty businesses, with more than 100 banking centers across Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico and Texas – and Commercial, Business Banking and Residential Banking operations in Utah. Tim has 30+ years of experience leading financial services companies in the public sector, including Bank of America and Regions Financial Services. He is committed to developing talent in a challenging and rewarding environment, and building company culture with foundational values like teamwork, meritocracy, citizenship and integrity. Tim is passionate about delivering value for his clients and shareholders through a simple, fair and personal approach to doing business. In 2016, Tim received the Colorado Banker of Distinction award, recognizing his outstanding leadership, dedication and support of activities vital to the health of local businesses and the community. Tim currently serves on the Board for Moffitt Cancer Center, the Colorado State Banking Board, and on the Board of the Colorado Bankers Association. Tim and his family are also avid supporters of Breakthrough Kent Denver, a program designed to increase educational and social opportunities for motivated, under-resourced youth. Notably, Tim is also the founder of the Do More Charity Challenge, a CrossFit competition that has raised more than $1 Million for numerous charitable organizations in Colorado, Kansas and Missouri since 2015.
