From Denver to Africa and beyond, I stimulate growth and advancement through empowerment. I believe business can transform lives and create better communities, so I cultivate and fund companies that bring about tremendous social and economic development. Job creation invests in its community. It offers residents opportunities to provide for their families, ascertain and attain goals, become more productive members of their societies, and thrive. While living in Kenya, I conceptualized, obtained impact funding for, and managed what has become a leading microfinance bank with a portfolio of over $180M. This venture has strategically empowered over one million people to be economically active and rise out of poverty, utilizing their profits to take care of their families and offering access to food, housing, and education. Impact matters. Whether it is bringing economic prosperity or strictly using non-hazardous products and methods, all of my business ventures maximize positive impact. These companies hire and train at-risk youth throughout the world to help them get on a better course. Whenever possible, I provide mentorship and guidance to optimize their chances. The future inspires me. I see the potential within the big picture and hope to provoke those I encounter to find not just the hope for a better world but the steps necessary to achieve it.
