Tamra's Summary

Proven executive leadership of Women's Bean Project, a high profile social enterprise. Outstanding communicator. Extensive expertise creating a vision and strategy and enlisting diverse groups to move toward a common goal. Strong ability to conceptualize and implement products and processes. Nationally recognized leader in the field of social enterprise, book author and TEDx speaker. Currently serving CEO of Women's Bean Project AND interim CEO of Social Enterprise Alliance. I am fortunate to be the recipient of numerous awards, including being named 2017 Top 25 Most Powerful Women by the CO Women's Chamber of Commerce; Judith M. Kaufmann award for Civic Entrepreneurship, presented by The Denver Foundation; Regis University's Social Entrepreneurship Award; and Outstanding Alumnus, presented by the Colorado Leadership Alliance in 2006. In 2012, The Denver Post named me as one of the up-and-coming most influential women in Colorado. In 2013, my book, The Third Law, was released. According to Newton's third law of motion, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The Third Law explores what is required for chronically unemployed and impoverished women to create new lives for themselves. It focuses on the societal obstacles that must be overcome and the internal demons that must be squelched. The book has received six awards for women/minorities in business, social change and women's issues. Visit www.thethirdlaw.net to learn more and purchase the book. Also in 2013 I had the cool experience of giving a talk at TEDxMilehigh. See below:
