Simon is Executive Director of the Infrastructure Masons (iM) which is a global non-profit, professional association guided by an Advisory Council of industry leaders responsible for the largest and most advanced digital infrastructure portfolios in the world. iM is where digital industry leaders and great minds meet to solve the complex problems and challenges that lie ahead as the industry continues to grow and evolve at breakneck speed. iM's current priority is to Bridge the Talent Gap (The #1 Challenge) by Promoting Awareness, EDU & Scholarships and addressing Diversity. iM are raising $1m this year for scholarships - 50% for women - and last year iM awarded the Digital Infrastructure Industries 1st Diversity Champion award. Simon is also a co-founder and Director of Data Center Incident Reporting Network (DCiRN) A non-profit initiative aimed at making Data Centers safer and more reliable by anonymously sharing information on incidents.
