Responsible for leading, directing, planning and controlling activities and functions of multidisciplinary project teams supporting the clinical informatics systems on a system-wide basis. I manage the analysis, design, measurement and creation of strategies for enhancing the usefulness of the informatics system applications and technologies on a system-wide level. My goal is to advance the clinical profession and service excellence by promoting system-wide use of clinical care processes that incorporate evidence-based best practices. I provide support and communication related to project roll out, implementation, utilization and maintenance to the executive leadership. I strive to guide the innovative use of emerging technologies to capture operational efficiencies and successfully meet system business objectives. Recent projects and teams: * Surgery patient electronic Clipboard implementation * Surgery Orders to Scheduling System Implementation * VitalsLink Implementation * Nuance Vincari Implementation * Inpatient Only Procedure Alert to prevent incorrect patient placement based on CMS Inpatient Only criteria * Surgical Site Infection bundle implementation to reduce SSI at a system level through bundled interventions * Patient Safety Indicators 90 system team working to reduce postoperative respiratory failure and venous thromboembolism (VTE) as well as increase early patient mobility * Designed and implemented several enhanced recovery after surgery PowerPlans including: Colorectal Surgery, Partial Nephrectomy Surgery and Bariatric Surgery * Representative for the Surgery, Orthopedic and Anesthesia Clinical Consensus Groups
