Sarah is the Chief Strategy Officer, Healthcare, for Zivaro, a Denver-based industry-leading consulting and technology services to help clients realize measurable business value from their technology investments. This is a newly created role as of November 1, and Sample-Reif will be the first-ever CSO for Healthcare in the company’s history. Sarah also serves as the President of the Colorado Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CHIMSS) organization, a state-wide chapter of the national organization that serves as the leader on behalf of the health IT industry across the nation. Sarah has been dedicated to CHIMSS for several years, has been President twice in the last five years, and has held a number of leadership roles throughout the organization’s initiatives with public policy, programming, advocacy and national strategies. Highlights of Sarah’s career include 10+ years at Cerner, and the following decade dedicated to growing the Health IT divisions of top publicly traded staffing firms and healthcare-focused firms, globally and in the US. She joined NetApp as part of the healthcare team to help organizations utilize data to drive decisions with AI and Cloud availability. Throughout her career, she has repeatedly driven herself and the teams, whom she works with, to exceed high revenue quotas by building and consistently engaging an extensive network of clinical and technical executive contacts within Health IT. The focus of our team is to bridge the gap between project requirements and deadlines by helping our clients find the best platform for long term network availability and storage capabilities for all aspects of patient care. In addition to serving a second time as President for the Colorado Chapter of HIMSS (CHIMSS), and a founding member of the Rocky Mountain Health 2.0 Chapter, she is dedicated to healthcare innovation and improvement through digital transformation. She has been involved in CHIMSS through Advocacy and on the board since 2009.
