Technical Background With expertise in many areas of application development, I have a systems-level mindset and am able to draw on firsthand experiences to drive quality into technology. My experience includes automation engineering, web application development including server- and client-side, machine learning, data engineering, and cloud engineering. Leadership Approach As someone who's had numerous mentors along every stage of my career, I value mentorship and lead that way. I believe that clear communication and timely feedback are critical to building performant, empowered teams. I also strive to enable teams to make their own, educated decisions, and support their understanding of how their work fits into the business goals. Customer-centric Design Whatever the task, I always keep the customer or end-user the focus of consideration: whether it's the developer experience, the product user experience, or stakeholders. I've had many opportunities to build products from the ground up; interviewing and observing users has allowed me to develop an empathetic, customer-centric viewpoint.
