Richard is the Principal of Tipperary Partners, a boutique technology strategy and advisory firm focused on delivering technology strategies designed to deliver improved operational efficiency, profitability enhancements, and enhanced customer service. In addition to our technology strategy practice, we also work with corporations and financial investors engaged in acquisitions investments to perform the technology due diligence prior to the transaction close. In his role, Richard is responsible for developing and managing the program plans around the divestiture of a $1.2B business unit of Denver-based financial services firm. He is also responsible for project plan development, tracking, execution and C-level interface, and leads a direct team of 9 and a project budget of approximately $3M. Prior to Tipperary Partners, Richard was the SVP of Qualis Solutions, and served as a partner in a start-up company involved in providing skilled resources for the steel fabrication industry. He also was the CIO for ISYS/TransFirst and led the overall technology organization for the 350+ global resources and $8M CapEx and $48M OpEx budget. Between 2011 and 2015 James was the SVP of Information Technology for AIMCO, and prior to that, was the SVP - IT strategy and Enterprise Systems for First Data, where he led the IT for more than 7 years.
