Sympatic places the data creator/owner/custodian as a central participant on the value chain. I'm an entrepreneur, innovator, and evangelist at the intersection of healthcare and big data technologies. Experienced executive; Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Molecular Virology; MBA from Chicago Booth School of Business; UChicago Cancer Research professor, and former Director in the Center for Data-Intensive Science for the architecting and deployment of the NCI-Genomic Data Commons at the University of Chicago.
