Michael D. Lohner Mike Lohner is an accomplished entrepreneur with an exceptional track record of developing and leading successful growth strategies in a diverse set of businesses. He is currently an active chairman of S&D Retail, a leading technology enabled social selling platform and fashion accessories business with three current brands: Stella & Dot (www.stelladot.com) Keep Collective, (www.keepcollective.com), and Ever Skincare (www.everskin.com). As CEO, Mike partnered with Founder, Jessica Herrin to lead the initial development, branding, launch and growth phases of the company before moving to Chairman in 2009. In addition to S&D, Mike is a co-founder of DOSH, (www.dosh.com) the leading cash-back card-linked advertising platform in America. With a mission to move billions of dollars of wasted advertising dollars into millions of Americans’ pockets, Dosh is using mobile technology to revolutionize the advertising market. Dosh boasts a wide range of fortune 500 customers and millions of subscribers. Mike currently serves on the board and advises Dosh. Mike also invests in and advises early-stage enterprises, mostly in the consumer tech and social retail industries. He has shepherded several companies from start-up to successful 8 or 9-figure exits, including ProPay (www.propay.com), a social selling fin-tech company purchased by TSYS. Companies with social retail models include a professional hair products company (www.jackwinnpro.com) and a social selling platform technology business (www.directscale.com). He also has been involved from the beginning in a rapidly-growing cyber security company focused on the mid-market (www.gradientcyber.com); and though he did not help start the company, he serves on the board of TVC Enterprises (www.prodriver.com), a leading Truck Driver services company that uses a social sales model. Before becoming an investor and advisor, Mike spent 17 years working as a CEO. He directed a turnaround at Home Interiors and Gifts, Inc. a private equity-owned home décor direct sales company operating in the US, Canada, and Mexico. During his 6-years there, He led a reversal of sales declines and then experienced retail revenue growth from $600 million to over $1 billion. Mike’s first CEO role combined his passion for golf with an early stage business at Evergreen Alliance Golf Limited (Eagle Golf). Under his direction, EAGL (now Arcis Golf) grew from 3 to 50 golf courses in 13 states. Investors earned a greater than 75% IRR when the company was sold after 7 years under Mike’s leadership. Mike’s early career included time as a consultant at Bain & Company, one of the world’s premier management consulting firms, and a Marketing Representative at Trammell Crow Company, where he was recognized as the top leasing agent in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. He earned his M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller scholar. He received his B.A degree in economics from Brigham Young University, where he maintained a 4.0 G.P.A. and also played on the varsity golf team.
