Kevin Kirksey is a Principal at ALM First, joining the firm in 2011. Kevin oversees the Strategic Solutions Group, which conducts merger and acquisition services, capital planning and stress testing, ALM and CPST model validations, CECL analysis, and ALM reporting. Additionally, Kevin oversees the Operations and Technology departments. Kevin has shared his expertise at various conferences including AmericanBanker, CPA firm and societies, FMS Chapters, Western Independent Bankers, The Knowledge Group, credit union leagues, state banking associations, NCUA, NASCUS and client board retreats. He has provided guest lectures at Southern Methodist University, University of Texas at Dallas, University of North Texas, Stephen F. Austin State University, and Texas A&M University. He is also an active member of YPO, the University of Texas at Dallas Finance Advisory Board, and various nonprofit boards. Kevin has also been published and quoted in numerous publications including SNL Financial, WIB Directors Digest, CU Times, CU Journal, Dallas Business Journal, and was a finalist for D CEO’s Dealmaker of the Year in 2019. Previously, Kevin worked on Goldman Sachs’ mortgage trading desk, where he analyzed whole loan trades and securitizations and performed mortgage valuations for various capital raises, mergers, and IPOs. Kevin received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Davidson College in North Carolina.
