Kevin Campbell currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen). Mr. Campbell is responsible for the design, development and implementation of infrastructure systems, software applications, and IT support. Mr. Campbell plays a key role in identifying emerging technologies to be adopted by TGen that support the research and business objectives of the institute. Additionally, Kevin has played a primary role in incubating numerous startups developed at TGen, most recently responsible for IT operations at the Ashion clinical lab which was acquired by Exact Science in 2021. Mr. Campbell joined TGen in 2003 and has worked closely with the scientific community to enable and accelerate research and discovery. Mr. Campbell was a key driver of the team that designed and built two supercomputer systems for TGen that have placed in the top 100 most powerful supercomputers in the world. Prior to TGen, Kevin worked for a number of companies here in Phoenix designing, deploying, and managing large-scale systems to solve complex problems. Kevin has worked within the Information Technology industry for over 30 years.
