Driven by my passion for learning and helping people learn, I spent the broader part of my career helping engineers find the most suitable learning methods to hone their professional skills. As a serial entrepreneur, Sun Certified Java Programmer, developer, and architect, I recently delivered training to Apple, Yahoo, VMWare, Intuit, NetJets, and Shaw Communications. My expertise in Java, Open Source, and software development resulted in invitations to guest speak at JavaOne, Java University, Comdex, IEEE Software Conference, and the Colorado Software Summit. I have had the pleasure of guest authoring for IBM and Sun/Oracle's developer sites, served as a technical editor for the bestselling book, Advanced Java: How to Program, and self-published my book, Working with IntelliJ. My belief in contextualized learning and knack for entrepreneurship led me to develop a training methodology to share with others who are equally as learning-hungry.
