At Pinnacol, I oversee the financial and actuarial operations of the company as CFO. I'm deeply involved in our ongoing strategic planning efforts. I'm also the executive sponsor of our InsurTech program. Prior to joining Pinnacol in 2008, I oversaw property and casualty insurance operations, warranty reserves and corporate department budgeting cycles for a national homebuilder. I was also in charge of the accounting and finance operations at a captive manager where I also helped clients design alternative solutions to solve their insurance issues. I started my career as an auditor of insurance companies at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago. Specialties: insurance accounting and finance, department management, consulting, captive insurance, property & casualty, workers' compensation, budgeting, strategic planning, statutory accounting, GAAP, SOX, and InsurTech.
