Jonathan's Summary

Co-Founder and CEO of the Founder Institute (http://fi.co), the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator. Since 2009, he has grown and scaled the organization to chapters in over 200 cities and 90 countries, which have produced over 5000 portfolio companies with over $1 billion in venture funding. He also serves as an Advisor to Horasis (Global Thinktank), Oxford Entrepreneurs (Oxford University) and the USC Incubator (University of Southern California). Previously, Jonathan was a Partner of TheFunded.com, the first website for startup founders to rate and review venture capitalists; Executive Producer of the Founder Showcase, a leading Silicon Valley startup conference that hosted speakers like Elon Musk; and Product Manager at RealNetworks (RNWK), a company he joined after its acquisition of Game Trust (an online gaming startup that raised $18M+ in venture capital, where he built and led all marketing and content). In his career, Jonathan has advised thousands of technology startups on marketing, growth, and product strategy, and has spoken at startup conferences on four continents. Fun stuff: --- - Won a 2004 Billboard award for the "Web/ Downloadable Game of the Year" - One of the world's largest Meetup organizers (500k+ members across 6 continents) - Can definitely beat you down the hill on either skis or a snowboard - Owns the coolest dog on the planet (Hercules, CMO -- Chief Morale Officer -- of the Founder Institute)
