John's Summary

John Zayac founded IBG International Business Group, Ltd. in 1986 to provide the mid-market business seller with the same high-quality resources and sophisticated service traditionally reserved for firms valued over $100 million. Since its inception, John has built IBG into the merger & acquisition industry’s most comprehensive provider of acquisition advisory services for mid-market business sellers. IBG offers a solution to the most important dilemma facing sellers of mid-market businesses today: how to confidentially identify and qualify national and international buyers. As the founder and CEO, John oversees the handling of each client from start to finish. His record of success as a business intermediary includes hundreds of completed transactions in manufacturing, distribution and service industries. John is an acknowledged court-appointed expert in business evaluations and transactions, as well as a nationally recognized speaker on “The Sale of Privately-Held, Mid-Market Firms”. His personal business philosophy is mindful: Capitalizing on the opportunity of a lifetime requires the experience to recognize it and the skill to do what is needed. In addition to his responsibilities as founder and CEO of IBG, John has owned and operated a variety of businesses including a printing company, an automobile importing agency and a chain of car washes. According to Professional Carwashing magazine, he is currently the 10th largest owner in number of self-service car wash locations in the U.S.
