Arguably, every person on earth has been touched by Mr. Modes’ visionary leadership. His ability to motivate others and build highly-effective teams is key to this success. Mr. Modes’ broad international experience encompasses corporate, operational, financial, marketing, and sales leadership. Mr. Modes’ strong entrepreneurial background has led to the founding of two successful new concept companies -- Teradata and HyperParallel. He has an impressive record of achievements in creating and growing these companies in the technology industry. In 1994, Mr. Modes founded and led HyperParallel, Inc. which developed, marketed and maintained high-performance algorithms for use in business analytics and intelligence applications. HyperParallel was acquired in 1999 by Yahoo!. Teradata Corporation, which Mr. Modes co-founded in 1979, pioneered relational database software systems and massively parallel processing technologies. Teradata became the fastest growing company in the U.S. and was acquired by AT&T in 1992. At Citicorp, Mr. Modes was a key member in the development and introduction of the first ATM machines and network. A product which changed the banking industry. Mr. Modes holds Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of Southern California Specialties: Corporate strategy, product development, marketing, sales, International management, M&A, and team building.
