As SVP & Chief Financial Officer of Western Sugar Cooperative, Jason D. Bridges is a senior financial management professional with a proven record in leading in the areas of accounting, financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, and general management for multiple agriculture and food production business divisions. Prior to joining Western Sugar Cooperative, Mr. Bridges was the Chief Financial Officer for GFG Ag Services, LLC where he was responsible for all financial functions in the organization along with helping to strategically grow the company through mergers and acquisitions and organic growth projects. From 2007 to 2013, Mr. Bridges advanced within Bunge North America; the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited, a vertically integrated food and feed ingredient company. He held positions of increasing responsibilities including Oilseed Processing Regional Controller, Oils Divisional Controller, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Oilseed Processing and Oils Divisions, and Margarine General Manager, North American Oils. Prior to his time with Bunge North America, Mr. Bridges held various positions with progressive responsibilities in plastics manufacturing, food manufacturing, and entrepreneurially owned service companies. Mr. Bridges has a history of partnering with other parts of the management team and providing fact based detailed decision support and analysis in order to maximize value creation throughout the organization. He has experience in numerous extensive financial management projects and in addition, has experience in budgeting/forecasting, cost accounting, plant startups, and general management across sales, operations, and supply chain. Mr. Bridges was educated at Eastern Illinois University and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
