In June 2016, Mr. Hogue joined Viviphi Ltd as Chairman, President and CEO. Viviphi Ltd is an exciting new company aimed at bringing innovative services and solutions to cancer patients and their doctors including those based in genomic science. In May 2014, Mr. Hogue retired from Elekta to spend more time enjoying his family and newly built retreat in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Mr. Hogue continued to assist select clients in a consulting and mentorship capacity. In 2004, he joined Elekta as VP of Professional Services. He later assumed responsibility for all of Elekta’s Canadian business units, as VP & GM, Canada. In 2009 he started Elekta’s Strategic Business Solutions group in the United States. In 2012, Mr. Hogue assumed responsibility for Elekta’s North American operations as SVP & General Manager. In 2001 Ernst & Young recognized him as Entrepreneur of the Year in Health Services. In 1993, he founded OpTx Corporation, a company specializing in electronic medical record and decision support systems in Oncology. He raised more than $35M in capital and developed the company into an internationally respected healthcare services and technology firm. In 1992 he joined Air Canada, where he was tasked with leading a comprehensive change management project that would revolutionize passenger revenue accounting and marketing. He joined Price Waterhouse in 1986 as a Senior Consultant, was promoted to Manager in 1987 and Senior Manager in 1988. In 1989 he assumed overall responsibility for the IT and Business Transformation practices in the Northwest and was admitted to the Partnership in 1990. Mr. Hogue graduated in 1980 with Honors in Business Administration and a major in Information Technology. Upon graduation, he joined Alberta Treasury and managed development, implementation and maintenance of large information systems including replacement of Alberta’s financial information systems.
