Dawn is passionate about raising the executive presence of sourcing, procurement and outsourcing professionals. She does this by staying educated on the latest trends in the industry, working with some of the most innovative companies in the world and surrounding herself with the best team on earth. From her early days as a CPA, to consulting across industries, Dawn brings the knowledge necessary to heighten the awareness of the sourcing profession. Dawn's expertise goes beyond consulting…she has hands-on experience leading hearings, testifying on behalf of client initiatives and serving as an expert witness about sourcing outcomes. Dawn ghost wrote one of the first published books on strategic sourcing, which has been translated into multiple languages. She is a frequently-requested, high-energy speaker at dozens of industry events every year. Since 2007, Dawn has revolutionized SIG as a membership organization of Fortune and Global 1,000 companies and the companies that serve them. SIG provides executive networking, education and thought leadership through SIG's Global Executive and Procurement Technology Summits, various "mini-Summit" Regional SIGnature Events and countless other industry events around the world. Dawn leads weekly webinars and open-mic teleconferences with buy-side members. Dawn is frequently named as a "Pro to Know" by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine and was listed as one of 2012's Top Female Supply Chain Leaders. She has contributed to and been quoted in dozens of magazines, white papers and publications. Dawn is the proud mother of six and actively involved on several boards promoting civic, health and children’s issues in thev Asheville, NC area. Dawn is a licensed CPA and has a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MS in International Taxation from Golden Gate University.
