The company use created a platform that enables clients to create smart contracts for B2B payment processing that reduces the high cost of currency conversion, currency fluctuation risk and cumbersome document flow. The platform creates increased transparency in the global shipping lanes of the world through trustworthy business practices, innovative technology applications and a singular focus on the goal of smarter, better, faster global trade. He had his own firm that specialized in business development, project management, strategic planning, marketing and consulting on international media and trade issues. Clients have included, AT&T, Georgia-Pacific, Tektronix, Hewlett-Packard, Weyerhaeuser, Norelco, Louisiana-Pacific and Westinghouse Broadcasting. He has worked and lived in Japan, Germany, Hong Kong and Malaysia. International Project Management included developing the strategy and assembling the team to help multi-national Canadian companies in the Forest Products Industry analyze trade issues with the United States, which included introducing bipartisan legislation in the Congress of the United States addressing the issues, with testimony given to the Commerce Department on the Draft Regulations implementing the Uruguay Round Agreements Act. He has co-founded several start-up companies and is past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Portland Art Museum, and served on the Board of Directors of the Portland Opera. and currently is the Chairman of the Board of the George D Green Art Institute.
