I believe that leadership is a learned skill and obligates you to leverage your influence to shape an environment that enables people to bring their best self and do their best work everyday. It carries the responsibility to inspire others and to connect them to the shared vision, purpose, and goals of the organization so that they can lean in fully. I believe that as the Head of People at TrueAccord, it is my job to make sure we are finding and hiring the best talent and we are positioning them for success once they join our team. It is my first priority to build the right people structures and practices so that we have a healthy work environment that attracts brilliant people, empowers them to make good decisions, encourages creativity, autonomy, and innovation that is consistent with a values- and results-driven company. I believe that the most important job of leadership is to develop leadership skills and pride across all levels of the organization. Every individual should feel proud of what they do, understand how they contribute to moving the company forward, and feel they too can influence others. I believe that when you consistently strive for excellence, have focus, and lead with heart, great things happen.
