Christopher's Summary

Chris has evolved over the years to find his real calling is to specialize in nontraditional investments, especially private placement real estate to augment and compliment traditional stock and bond portfolios. His expertise with private debt, private equity, and private real estate, as well as with structured products, is proving to be an ideal solution for the most challenging markets we've faced in over three decades. He has also been in the financial services industry for over 30 years and enjoys helping investors make better decisions. He spent 11 years working abroad for world-class financial institutions including a major Wall Street firm in Great Britain. When he returned to the U.S. with Shearson Lehman Hutton, he specialized in retirement planning for corporate executives in NYC. In 1994, Chris founded Capital Investment Management (CIMCO) with the goal of offering clients independent investment advice. As of 2014 he joined RBC Wealth Management but has returned to the independent advisory world in 2016. Chris was introduced to social enterprise at the Skoll World Forum - Oxford, over a decade ago and has championed the concept including support for Endeavor and Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC) with a special focus on literacy and learning for children.
