Cheryl was Amazon's CTO for Consumer Electronics (Colorado Site Leader), where for four years, she built a large product management and engineering organization to own the entire lifecycle of technical programs for Amazon's $35B Consumer Electronics (CE) business. She also built Amazon's $4B Heavy/Bulky (HB) business. She began at Amazon as Director of Operations Technologies, developing all of the labor-related software for fulfillment employees. Prior to Amazon, Cheryl was the Director of eBusiness Solutions for CenturyLink (formerly Qwest) where she managed a large organization in the design, development and delivery of CenturyLink's ebusiness and self-service programs. From 2005-2010 Cheryl was the President/CEO of ERI, where she increased ERI profits tenfold by transforming the company from a technology-driven brokerage to also become a major technology provider in the real estate industry. Previous positions include Executive Consultant for Western Union and Corporate Express; CIO/Technology Officer for Insight America; Director of Systems Architecture for Sun Microsystems; Faculty member for Denver Technical College; and various roles at Bell Laboratories. Cheryl serves on the Executive Board for the Amazon Women in Engineering and the Board of Directors for Washington MESA and Rocky Mountain MESA. She also serves on Advisory Boards the Engineering and Computer Science colleges for the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, Colorado School of Mines, and the University of Denver.
