LabCorp recruited me to create an interface from their system to the DoD’s EHR and network. Having managed the creation and implementation of interfaces between the system and external labs, I was uniquely qualified to lead their initiative. I took the project and hired 40 cross-functional team members. First I analyzed LabCorp’s current system capabilities and their intended future state and then delivered a comprehensive scope of work. This involved constant interfacing with executive leaders, contractors, PMO offices, etc. Next, once all the stakeholders bought in, I led the software development team. Some software was commercial, and some we architected.
