HIGHLIGHTS: • Acted as a finance lead, working in DANONE Wave cross-functional team settings to develop sales, operational and financial planning functions for the new organization • Engaged within the Capital, Risk Management and IT Steering Committees, along with the senior leadership team at WhiteWave • Faced extraordinary challenges across the WhiteWave business; garnered impressive results including YoY revenue • Headed all mergers and acquisitions at Foster Poultry; revised target identification measures, resulting in the review of eight possible targets and one LOI during the first year leading M&A • Represented Foster Poultry in a multimillion-dollar claim with an insurance carrier regarding a recall and product contamination dispute; achieved a significant recovery at the close of the process • Negotiated the asset purchase agreement for Foster Poultry’s acquisition of a $40M Mexican foods business; led the effort’s Integration Team to achieve full integration and termination of transition services in 60 days • Coordinated a Payables project at Kraft Foods that yielded over $50M in cash flow improvement • Identified and monitored $3M in sales expenses savings at Kraft, a reduction of more than 5% • Suggested revisions to the Kraft retail trade program that reduced trade inefficiency by over $20M • Developed a trade reconciliation process, along with pricing and product mix models used across Kraft’s Cheese Division
