Founder and CEO of Cubby Beds - we're on a mission to improve sleep and safety for millions of kids with special needs. If you're interested in joining us, we're hiring! If you're interested in learning more about me, here's my story. I fell in love with business at an early age and opened an eCommerce store when I was 15. By 17, I was running a six-figure online marketing and wholesale business and knew that I'd be building "stuff" for the rest of my life. After some early business learnings, I volunteered in Guatemala + Canada for a year and then studied at the University of Waterloo. During this time I managed a team of 20+ sales reps for a travel startup and founded an events company that brought thousands of people to events across Canada. I then joined SendGrid to help companies like Uber, Spotify, and Airbnb send their most critical communications. I rode the rollercoaster of startup - IPO - $3B+ acquisition by Twilio. Cubby Beds is my new venture. We manufacture and distribute smart sensory beds to improve sleep and safety for people with cognitive conditions like Autism, Epilepsy, and Dementia. We have been awarded over $500K in grants/prizes and partnered with Joyance Venture Capital, Arc Capital & LA Children's Hospital.
