Having over 20 years' experience as a finance, administration, and operations executive with an emphasis in technology in both domestic and international business. I am an operationally oriented financial leader with a Masters in Business Administration MBA and am a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). My background is one of leadership in both public and private companies focused in technology offerings. A successful IPO veteran with experience raising capital (+$125m) in both public and private markets. I have directly negotiated and completed multiple (M&A) corporate acquisitions and company/division sales. My work style is to be a business partner to the CEO and leadership team, applying creative problem-solving to a variety of issues. My knowledge base includes a solid understanding of GAAP, Software Revenue Recognition, Stock Options Accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements plus others. With my team, I consistently produce accurate financials and identify weakness areas for developing and implementing effective controls. I take a service-oriented approach to team-building and have an accomplished track record of high performance transforming into increased shareholder value. My career began in telecom at Mountain Bell (US West), starting in the technology offerings group in the finance department after completing a Bachelor of Science in business finance. Later in my career, I earned a MBA from Denver University in the Daniels School of Business with an emphasis in International Business. I have served on the Board of Directors' for Bellco Credit Union, a multi-billion dollar credit union since the late 80's. Additionally, I serve on the board of directors for Baseline Engineering Corporation, a Civil Engineering consulting firm and the University of Northern Colorado Accounting Department Advisory Board.
