Andreas's Summary

I'm a tech entrepreneur who obsesses about creating fast-growth businesses. As founder and CEO of CatchApp, I’m working with a talented team to transform how busy people and businesses schedule meetings and appointments. We aim to make each hour of their day more effective, and help them be more productive. At the start of my career, I dropped out of university to found Australia's first major eCommerce company, BuyQuick, which grew to be the leading business of its kind. With 70,000 products and more than 300% annual growth in its first seven years, I expanded BuyQuick to 10 countries. I took my Executive MBA at the Cambridge University's Judge Business School. Post MBA, I launched FinluxDirect, exceeding $£20m in sales within the first 2 years. I was inspired to develop CatchApp after it took me two months to schedule two days of meetings at a conference in Berlin, creating weeks worth of uncertainty, stress and hundreds of unnecessary emails as invitees and I juggled multiple time zones and options. I did not like the tech or apps on offer - so decided to create and launch the best meeting scheduler on the market! I have been nominated as an Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and picked by Newsweek as one of the top people to watch.
