Aaron's Summary

Aaron Mills joined the Schomp Automotive Group in 2003 as a Staff Accountant and has worked his way through the ranks, becoming Finance Sales Assistant and Finance Director before assuming the CFO position in 2010. He has mastered the intricacies of the automotive business from top to bottom. Aaron oversees all financials and accounting for the Schomp dealerships. He is responsible for producing accurate factory financial statements, audit preparation, cash-flow management, negotiating and executing contracts, securing financing, forecasting, pace reporting, compensation plans, and payroll management. He manages corporate office functions and assists in developing business strategy. Aaron has passed all four sections of the CPA exam (not licensed) and graduated from the NADA Academy. He is licensed to sell property, casualty, life and health insurance. Aaron says that what he likes about his work is, “The possibility of operating several diverse business units under one roof intrigues me most about working in the automotive retail space. Working for a company that strives to be the best in everything is why Schomp Automotive is such a joy to work for. Schomp wants to revolutionize the industry, and I’m honored to be part of that change.” Aaron is a 2002 cum laude graduate of Northwood University where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. He was a four-year soccer player at Northwood. He was team captain and “Student Athlete of the Year” in his senior year. Aaron is married to Alishia and has four children.
